We are a small firm that capitalizes on our extensive knowledge of science and our familiarity with local government officials to provide efficient and in-depth professional service to our clients. We have been in business serving Connecticut and Westchester County, NY since 1999.

We are highly experienced soil scientists, ecologists, and environmental planners. We work with homeowners, engineers, architects, surveyors, attorneys, and government officials. Anyone who owns or manages property, and anyone who is interested in understanding the wetlands-related or ecological constraints to the use or development of their property.

Steven Danzer, PhD
Principal

Steven Danzer has over twenty years’ experience in the fields of Wetland and Soil Science, Ecology, and Natural Resource Evaluation. He has always been intrigued by the simple but also perplexing question about whether the landscape before him is healthy or not. This question has propelled him throughout a professional career which has spanned the deserts and mountains of Arizona and the American Southwest to the rocky hills, wetlands, and coastal plains of the East Coast and New England.

Tracy Chalifoux
Collaborative Partner

With over 15 years of experience as a landscape architect in Fairfield and Westchester Counties, Tracy is an expert in wetland restoration design and is well-versed in the intricate permitting processes that vary across municipalities. Tracy holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Rhode Island and is a Registered Landscape Architect in both Connecticut and New York. She is also a CLARB Certified Landscape Architect and a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
